The Early Childhood Center offers Transitional-Kindergarten.

• Our Transitional Kindergarten (T-K)

  • was created to support the needs of those children who would be age-ready (5) for a public/private Kindergarten setting, but are given the bonus year to grow physically, emotionally and academically.

In the State of Maine, children do not need to be in school until they are 6 years old

A bonus year gives your child the opportunity to grow physically, solidify their foundational academic skills, and emotionally handle the peer and social pressures of upper elementary, middle and high school.
