Welcome! We are thrilled to be offering yoga through the Gorham Arts Alliance at The Arts and Nature Center at Tannery Brook located at 10 Wentworth Drive in Gorham. Our aim is to provide students space to explore how their bodies move- with no judgement. We welcome beginners, advanced yogis, and everyone in between.

COVID Protocols
Our studio space is limited to 8 students per class until further notice. Masks are optional at this time, but this is subject to change based on current CDC guidance. Students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and props. Any community mats or props will be cleaned and sanitized by Village Yoga staff after each class.

10-Class Punch Card: $100
Special events and workshops will be priced separately and will be indicated in the event description. Punch cards are not able to be used for special events or workshops.

Class Descriptions

YIN Yin is a passive but impactful all-level class that works deeply into the connective tissues of the body incorporating long holds and deep breaths.
Students will hold specific postures for 3-5 minutes, using the breath to ease the body further into the pose.
Yin is a meditative practice that is the perfect compliment to yang (or flow) practice
Vinyasa for
All
Connect to your body in this 50 minute flow class linking breath and movement.
Each session will include standing and seated postures, pranayama, meditation, relaxation, and inspiration from the world around us.
Options and modifications will be offered for all levels through this lively moving meditation.
Yoga,
Strengthen,& Tone
Join us for an hour of movement, breath, and strength–building exercises.
This class is a fusion of yoga, pilates, and core exercises to help students build strength and to tone their muscles.
Instructor Jess guides students through a series of heat-building movements using props such as straps and yoga blocks.
Towards the end of class, students can expect a well-deserved cool down and stretch in which students can decompress and recover.
Gentle Flow
& Restore
Students seeking a nurturing, stress-relieving experience will enjoy this class as Jess guides gentle, intentional movements to connect body and mind.
Half way through class, students will dive into deeper relaxation by incorporating yoga blocks and blankets to support their bodies in longer held, restorative poses.
This class is ideal for anyone looking to unwind, reconnect, and to indulge in some self-care practices.
Movement &
Mobility
Increase stability and build core strength with a class focused on functional movement and mobility.
This class will feature ground-based movement that will improve strength, flexibility, mobility, and coordination.
Morning
Flow
Start your day with a 50 minute morning flow of standing and seated postures, breathing exercises, and relaxation.
Drawing inspiration from the natural world, we will connect with our bodies and the changes around us.
Modifications will be offered to accommodate all levels.
Power Yoga This 60 minute flow will focus on breath, muscle engagement, flexibility and strength building,
and will often work up to more challenging postures such as arm balances and inversions.

Let Your
Yoga Dance
Let Your Yoga Dance © is a joy-based movement practice combining yoga and dance with music from around the world.
Offered in a safe, kind, welcoming environment, it is a practice for all fitness levels and ages! No dance or yoga experience necessary.
Each class includes warmup, breathing, choreographed and free dancing, and ends in a meditative cooldown.
Join instructor, Ren Hawkes, to build heart health, brain health, and soul health and expand the joy and fun in your life.
